18:00	“European Maritime Policy – Experts from the Region in Discussion with EU Commissioner Dr Joe Borg” Open Debate with Dr Joe Borg EU Commissioner, responsible for Fisheries and Maritime Affairs In addition to the participants of the Conference further maritime experts from Land Schleswig-Holstein are expected for this event. 19:30	Presentation of Ocean Award Schleswig-Holstein – Elisabeth-Mann-Borgese-Prize – The federal state government of Schleswig-Holstein will award the maritime prize Schleswig-Holstein. This after Elisabeth Mann-Borgese named prize will be awarded for integrative and interdisciplinary achievements for the protection and conservation of the seas. A high-ranking jury will decide on the laureates in June. The prize will be awarded in a ceremony on this evening.
